Lydia Birt 

I am dedicated to clearly, correctly and concisely telling other people's stories.

To do this effectively, I am trained to use video, photos, graphics, audio and social media. 

 

I am a graduate from the Missouri School of Journalism. In addition to a journalism degree with an emphasis in emerging media, I have earned linguistics and business minors. My business minor helps me to emphasize my employer's brand and to make decisions economically. My linguistics minor helps me to use clarity and compassion when communicating with coworkers and clients.

Based on my Hispanic heritage and academic achievements, I was a recipient of the Diversity Award at the University of Missouri and was offered the Mark Twain Non-resident Scholarship.

I take pride in my years of financial independence. I have worked up to three jobs at a time since I turned 15 years old. I want to offer this work ethic to your business, on top of my journalistic talents cultivated by the Missouri School of Journalism and real-world experience.
